The “Warsaw Recommendation on Recovery and Reconstruction of Cultural Heritage” was developed at the international conference on reconstruction „The challenges of World Heritage recovery” held in 2018. The document covers the most important issues regarding the reconstruction of damaged cultural properties. The Recommendation was created as a joint effort of representatives of UNESCO, International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), ICCROM, UNISDR , the World Bank, Global Alliance for Urban Crises and participants from all regions of the world. The Ukrainian edition of the Warsaw Recommendation will support the reconstruction works of the cultural heritage destroyed in Ukraine in the aftermath of Russian aggression.
