The ongoing war in Ukraine continues to take its toll on culture, not limiting to the material heritage. In March, the unique archive of Ukrainian folk songs stored on the folk-ukraine.com website fell victim to Russian cyber-aggression – the ethnomusicologist Marichka Marczyk informed the attack on her FB profile. The author compared this act of destruction of the Ukrainian culture to the re-shooting of the victims in Babi Yar. Fortunately, the creators of the website had backup copies of the songs collected over the years and intend to share them with the world with even more dedication.
