“WE BELIEVE” for Ukrainian cultural heritage

Ukrainian followers of the Greek Catholic and Orthodox Church are preparing for Easter, which is celebrated this year on April 24-25. On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine (In cooperation with the Ukrainian State Agency for Arts and Artistic Education and the POSMEN communication agency) created the project “WE BELIEVE” – an Easter Market organized in the digital space.

Virtual Ukrainian Easter eggs are sold under the “WE BELIEVE” project. Each of them symbolizes one of the cities in Ukraine and is decorated with an ornament characteristic of a given region. The number and price of available Easter eggs price depending on the level of destruction of the Ukrainian cities. The only (and also the most expensive) copy of the Easter egg shows Mariupol – the city was 90% destroyed.

The “WE BELIEVE” project has become a combination of the Easter tradition of painting Easter eggs, an Easter market and modern technologies (NFT token technology). Thanks to the funds obtained under this action, a fund will be created that will enable the post-war reconstruction of the destroyed cultural heritage of Ukraine.
